Gauri - Kadambari Desaiis a test-tube baby who considers Suhasini as her mother. Gauri shares an adorable relationship with Suhasini. Suhasini has no clue about Gauri's father. Suhasini desires to stay along with Gauri forever. She is scared of the day when Gauri will get married and go away. Hence, she always tries to maintain a friendly relationship with Gauri so that Gauri does not hide anything from her. However, one day Suhasini learns that Gauri has fallen in love with her college friend Anand - Ranjit Jog. Initially, Suhasini reacts negatively, but later when she learns that Anand is a nice chap, she decides to let Gauri get married smoothly. However, now Suhasini also want Gauri to gain the blessings of her father during the auspicious occasion of her marriage. Hence, she sets ahead in search of Gauri's father.
