Bikini bombshell Bipasha Basu is all set to make her mark in the west. She is
set to star opposite Josh Hartnett in her first Hollywood movie titled,
Singularity.
Singularity
is a passionate love story, set against the backdrop of the first Anglo-Maratha
war, about an Indian bodyguard, played by Bipasha, and a British soldier,
played by Josh Hartnett. Expect there to be romantic scenes between Bipasha and
Josh Hartnett, and Bipasha says she has no problem with that, “If I can do
kissing scenes in India then why not for a Hollywood film?”
In
the movie, Bipasha will pla the romantic lead and will also do a variety of
stunts including horse riding, deep sea diving, and fencing. She is preparing
for her Hollywood movie, the star tweeted “My prep for singularity was super
fun! Horse riding, underwater swimming, rehearsals n discussions with d cast,
working on my look! Great team!”
The
movie was originally titled The Invaders and had as part of its cast Brendon
Fraser, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi. However, that was shelved and
now Abhay Deol is also set to star in the film alongside international stars
such as Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, Shane Briant, Christopher Egan and Chris
Pine.
The
movie will be released in Autumn 2011. Currently its been shot in Australia and
India.
