A source said, “It was a last minute decision to use SRK`s voice. Karan wanted a simple narration for the film. So, he requested SRK. It is believed SRK is not too keen on giving voice-overs. He has turned down requests by many filmmakers. But with Karan, it is different and he could not refuse.”

“SRK`s voice will be used in the first five minutes of the movie when its lead cast is introduced,” the source added. Directed by Punit Malhotra, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ stars Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor.

Speaking about the relevance of SRK’s voiceover in the film, Punit said that there are several instances in the film where references are drawn from SRK’s films, thereby making his voice all the more important.

Katrina has started reading up on the job-reservation issue for Aarakshan. The last time the actress came together with the Big B, it was to play his son Abhishek’s foreign-returned girlfriend in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar.

In Aarakshan she will be paried with Ajay Devgn for the first time. Set in the world of academia, education and job reservations the film has the Big B as a college principal and Devgn, his favourite student, a member of the backward class who supports the job-reservation issue.

A co-actor present on the sets of Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum says, “Abhishek gives the impression of being so calm and collected, even serious, but he is exactly the opposite.

After carrying Amitji piggyback in Paa, he seems fascinated by that mode of transport. During the Goa schedule of Dum Maro Dum, the unit members were amused to see Abhishek instructing a production team member Hussainbhai to carry him piggyback from his vanity van to the sets.

The sport that he is, Hussainbhai complied whenever Abhishek asked for a ride. It was quite a surprise at first, but eventually everyone on the sets got used to seeing Abhishek being ferried around by Hussainbhai. Abhishek is a real prankster and he’d keep the unit in splits with his antics.”

Confirming the news, Hussain says, “Abhishek meri jaan hai. We do this quite frequently, though not every day.”
