The film marks the return of the star AKshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as a couple after their last movie ‘Singh is Kingg’. Yes, they were seen together in DE DANA DAN as well but there was hardly any screen time that they shared. This means that as a quintessential hero-heroine ‘jodi’, it is indeed a reunion of sorts for Akshay and Katrina here.

Akshay says, “I am proud to say as a producer and co-star that this movie couldn’t have been complete without Katrina. She just grows with every opportunity that she is given. What is really amazing is the fact that she has played an ‘Item Girl’ like never before. She has always been great to share a screen with.”

Given the success record that the duo has shared, one can well believe Akshay here. After all films like WELCOME and NAMASTEY LONDON are a testimony to that. “Well she annoys the hell out of me but I wouldn’t want it any other way”, adds Akshay on a lighter note, “I always look forward to our yearly movie together.”

“I must tell everyone that Kat has hammed her way through this movie like a true Jag tap. Congratulations Kat, there is now nothing you can’t do now”, winks Akshay before signing off.

“There is not too much difference between Farah Khan as director and Farah Khan as choreographer. What she wants in dancing, that’s exactly what she wants from an actor in scenes also. Whatever she wants, she will get it,” Akshay told reporters.

“She is very bossy and lot of men are quite scared of her,” he chuckled.

Farah has succeeded as a director so far with her “Main Hoon Naa” and “Om Shanti Om” turning blockbuster hits.

The action comedy “Tees Maar Khan”, directed by Farah, is slated to release Dec 24 and has already hit the headlines for its sizzling item song “Sheila Ki Jawani” lipped by actress Katrina Kaif.

Akshay is also a producer on the film and is all praises for Farah Khan.

“I am just there as a producer, that’s it. Farah and her husband Shirish tackle the whole production work because I can’t do it along with acting,” said Akshay, who was in Kolkata with Katrina for the promotion of the movie.

Asked whether he is under pressure regarding the film’s success as two earlier movies directed by Farah were superhits, the ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood said the pressure was on Farah.

“Pressure is not on me. Pressure is on Farah because two of her earlier films were superhit. Now she has to deliver in this movie,” the actor said.

The movie revolves around Tarbez Mirza Khan - a criminal played by Akshay who gets the job of robbing antiques worth Rs.500 crore from a heavily guarded moving train - and his girlfriend Anya, played by Katrina.

According the sources, Akshay screamed at Katrina for making him wait for a recent event.

Though it was a friendly scold, but according to reports Akki was upset and gave Kat his mindful. But, soon matters cooled down when Katrina texted Akki and apologized for making him wait. Later the two were seen chatting up and giggling like nothing had happened.

Well, looks like these small skirmishes are making Akki-Kat’s bond even stronger.

According to an industry insider, the shooting of ‘Thank You’ is currently going on in Canada and Anees is still trying hard to get Katrina on board.

‘Thank You’ will also star Sonam Kapoor opposite Bobby Deol. However, now that Kat has declined the offer, the search for Akshay’s leading lady in the venture is still on!
