Bollywood
beauty Asin is reported to be the next heroine to star opposite John Abraham in
the hindi remake of the Tamil super hit cop story “Khakha Khakha”.
The
shooting of this untitled Hindi remake is all set to begin in May under the
direction of Nishikant Kamath.
“Although Genelia was
considered for the remake, they dropped the idea as John had already worked
with Genelia in Hook Ya Crook and they wanted a fresh pairing. Asin has already
worked with Vipul Shah in London Dreams so they decided to sign her. The film
is important for John at this stage of his career as his last three films
Ashayein, Hook ya Crook and Abbas Tyrewala’s next film have been put on hold
for various reasons,” Sources said.
