Singularity is a passionate love story, set against the backdrop of the first Anglo-Maratha war, about an Indian bodyguard, played by Bipasha, and a British soldier, played by Josh Hartnett. Expect there to be romantic scenes between Bipasha and Josh Hartnett, and Bipasha says she has no problem with that, “If I can do kissing scenes in India then why not for a Hollywood film?”

In the movie, Bipasha will pla the romantic lead and will also do a variety of stunts including horse riding, deep sea diving, and fencing. She is preparing for her Hollywood movie, the star tweeted “My prep for singularity was super fun! Horse riding, underwater swimming, rehearsals n discussions with d cast, working on my look! Great team!”

The movie was originally titled The Invaders and had as part of its cast Brendon Fraser, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi. However, that was shelved and now Abhay Deol is also set to star in the film alongside international stars such as Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, Shane Briant, Christopher Egan and Chris Pine. 

The movie will be released in Autumn 2011. Currently its been shot in Australia and India.

The actors gushed over each other and shared a staged kiss or two. Imran explained his relationship and upcoming marriage with Avantika Malik, his girlfriend of eight years while Ranbir honestly confessed his friendship with Katrina Kaif (no, they are not dating, he added numerous times), his equation with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone and his explanation for his nonstop link ups with his female costars.

They both expressed their desire to be a part of Dostana 3 and mimicked Abhishek Bachan’s “I’ll do anything for the hamper” showdown. Both of the actors answered candidly to Karan’s rapid fire round questions. Imran poked big time fun at his buddy and Ranbir played along as they both put Sonam pretty low on all rankings including her acting skills and sex appeal.

The film’s Hindi version will be directed by Srijit Mukherjee, who also directed the Bengali version. And as expected SRK is averse to play the role of a fading superstar. Wonder if, it would mirror his real life a little too much?

The film will be produced by Madhu Mantena. Madhu said, “I think the era of remakes from regional languages into Hindi is back. We just need to make sure the regional flavour is not lost in Hindi. Ghajini was a smash-hit Tamil to Hindi remake. I am talking to at least five major Tamil-Telugu blockbuster directors about making their own films in Hindi.”

Katrina Kaif has earlier worked with Kabir Khan in ‘New York’ along with John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The movie fared reasonably well at the B.O.

Kabir has been busy writing a script for the Yash Raj movie. He is in talks with Katrina for the last 5 -6 months for the movie.

There have been no official announcements that Katrina has agreed and Kabir is very tight lipped on this venture. But sources place that Katrina has been confirmed for the movie which is set to go on the floors in March 2011.

Salman is known to have a big heart than his muscles is doing an item number in Farah Khan’s release “Tees Maar Khan”. He is also doing a special appearance in Rajshri’s next “Isi Life Mein”, which will introduce fresh faces like Akshay Oberoi and Sandeepa Dhar to the silver screen where Mohnish Bahl and Aditya Raj Kapoor play important roles.

Nothing is disclosed about Salman’s role in the film but sources confirm that Salman will be having a special appearance in the film as Salman respects Rajshris who gave him his first super duper hit ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ which made him the overnight star and its now 25 years, the actor still rules.
