The film marks the return of the star AKshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as a couple after their last movie ‘Singh is Kingg’. Yes, they were seen together in DE DANA DAN as well but there was hardly any screen time that they shared. This means that as a quintessential hero-heroine ‘jodi’, it is indeed a reunion of sorts for Akshay and Katrina here.

Akshay says, “I am proud to say as a producer and co-star that this movie couldn’t have been complete without Katrina. She just grows with every opportunity that she is given. What is really amazing is the fact that she has played an ‘Item Girl’ like never before. She has always been great to share a screen with.”

Given the success record that the duo has shared, one can well believe Akshay here. After all films like WELCOME and NAMASTEY LONDON are a testimony to that. “Well she annoys the hell out of me but I wouldn’t want it any other way”, adds Akshay on a lighter note, “I always look forward to our yearly movie together.”

Sheila is the itemgirl in the movie aspiring to become a successful actress. Quite simply meaning that Sheila wants to become Katrina. And that is what Farah meant. This was revealed by the director of TEES MAAR KHAN, Farah Khan recently.

Certainly we have had actresses playing themselves on screen but this kind of role is definitely more interesting and challenging, one that Katrina’s countless fans will thoroughly enjoy!

Buzz has it that Katrina has dropped clothes for sizzling item number - ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, where she oozes with raw sex appeal in a white satin sheet for the same. Well, it’s a feat which no other director can boast off except Farah Khan, who brings a never seen side of Katrina Kaif on the silver screen.

Farah said, “‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ was supposed to be a raunchy item Bhojpuri kind of song as Katrina`s a wannabe actress acting in sleazy films but the song shaped out to be classy and a mix between Chicago and Broadway. I have never seen Katrina looking both hot and sensuous at the same time. In her earlier films, she`s dressed mostly like a Barbie doll.”

Regarding the subject of Katrina’s apprehension for the item number, Farah said, “Katrina really trusted me and didn`t argue even once when I told her what shehad to wear. She just told me that she needs to start working out and tone her body more. I never told Katrina to lose weight. We shot ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ in five days and every day we had a new set and new costumes.

For the satin bed sheet, we had a 10 feet rotating bed with the men around her. She would shoot with us and then go and work out at 11.30 pm so that her abs would be toned. Her dedication is tremendous. She didn`t feel awkward with so many men around. The more they screamed and cheered for her, the more she got a high and her energy levels increased.”

The best word to describe Ranbir on the show was candid. He had shed all inhibitions and was revealing all his secrets on national television. Ranbir revealed that one ploy he used to hide the fact that he was also seeing another girl when he already had a girlfriend. He used to store the other girl’s name as “Battery Low”.

That was really clever, but it has not stopped his fans reading between the lines to search the names of the girls involved. Was that Deepika and Katrina? Ranbir prefers to stay mum.

India finally has an answer to what led Deepika Padukone call it quits even though she looked so much in love with the Kapoor boy. The next episode brings Deepika herself on the hot seat, and the couple’s fans are eagerly waiting for more beans to be spilled!
